Meet Belzer! He was given to us by a couple who moved in across the courtyard from us. He was about 8-9 years old when we got him, and he'd been a cage bird before he came to live with us. We moved him in with a couple of our other birds - a new experience for him as well - and he gets along really well. He's a sweet birdie who'll give you 'heart shaped wings' when you first take him out, or spend special time with just him, but he's not one for scritches or petting. He's a real character, puts himself to bed when you tell him it's bedtime (and a couple of the other birds have picked this up from him as well). He loves to sing, and wolf whistle, and flirt with the girls. :) He loves being misted and never bites. You can tell he was loved by his former owners, even if he did spend all his time in a cage.
