This is Gromit. He was our first cockatiel. He's a 'Normal Grey' split to pied. He was a 10 week old hand fed baby when we got him, and was climbing up our arms and sitting on our shoulders within half an hour of taking him home. He's quite a character, has tons of personality. He's also a big chicken, afraid of anything new in the cage or in any of his areas, and he'll run away screeching at the sight of a bug. But he loves people, especially women. He'll beg to be picked up, run up their arms, give them kisses and sing to them, with those cute little heart shaped wings.
  Gromit loves one-handed scritches, doesn't much care for bathing, loves his pellets and especially his veggies (broccoli is his favorite). He also loves mashed potatoes and refried beans, and he'll do *anything* for a Dorito. But mostly he loves spending time with us, and his girlfriend Kali.
  Gromit had one clutch of babies with Kali, and was a pretty darned good dad. :) We're thinking about letting them have another clutch next spring.
